How to Cook with Veppam Poo?

Veppam Poo Rasam
Soak tamarind and extract the juice. Dry-roast neem flowers in
ghee until aromatic. Temper with mustard, then add the tamarind
extract, salt, asafoetida, turmeric, pepper, cumin powder, and
red chilli powder. Let it boil gently. Add crushed garlic for an extra
layer of flavour.

Veppam Poo Rice
Heat ghee in a pan. Temper with mustard seeds, urad dal, and
red chillies. Add neem flowers and a pinch of salt. Fry until
golden and fragrant. Mix with hot rice for a simple, soulful meal.

Veppam Poo Thovaiyal
In ghee, roast urad dal and red chilli, then set aside. Roast
neem flowers till golden. Blend all with tamarind, asafoetida,
and salt into a coarse paste. Tastes divine with steaming rice
and a dollop of ghee!
