Was good did not try the tomato and amla pickle.. But one advice please use good plastic bottles.. The quality of the bottle is very bad.. In fact the oil from the tomato pickle had leaked in the perfect pouch bag that the bottle was in.. Very flimsy quality of bottle was used.. The quality of the amla pickle seems the best.. Why do you use different types of containers.. If you want to maintain the standard please use good quality ones and standard design ones not different types.. Thanks..

I keep 2 bottles of this from Oorla always in my fridge and order well ahead of them getting finished. It goes well with either ghee rice on a rainy day or curd rice on a hot day when it is too tiring to cook, after being stuck in traffic while driving home from work.

This pickle is just the right blend of salty, sour and kaaram tastes that a true Chintakaaya pickle should contain to linger in the mouth.

There is not too much oil nor raw smell of tamarind or chili powder as in other brands that sit on Indian grocery shelves in US for some time, exposed to light. Above all, it is very fresh with detectably high quality of ingredients. I am originally from Andhra Pradesh and using a village type grinding stone yields an infinitely superior product with right consistency.
